Why Are They ALWAYS Funnier?

Why do beer companies always make the funniest beer ads? Budweiser ads make me laugh; Kleenex ads leave me cold.

The difference? Humor of course.

My question: Why don’t the other industries take a hint from that laughter and punch up the funnies?
