		<description>Thanks for your post on Doug Henning.  I love the wonder that magic *can* inspire in an audience.  It echoes Jay Sankey in an article entitled &quot;Magic as Bloodsport&quot;.  In the article, Jay said that magicians used to be about charming and winning their audiences.  

In truth...that&#039;s really what magic is, isn&#039;t it?  More than tricks, it is about wonder, joy, fun, laughter, amazement.  It defies description, which is why it gets its own word:  in short, it&#039;s &quot;Magic&quot;.

In some ways, magic is more about real life than most things that we call &quot;real&quot;.   Thanks for reinforcing what magic is really about...a moment in which walls fall down, the heart is touched, and the soul is inspired.</description>
