Dinner Table Manners are For Comedians

We were having dinner last night: my wife and I and the three kids. We’re trying to teach them the art of conversation, and enforce the “one person talks at a time” rule.

When I asked my five-year-old to be quiet, as it was not her turn, she said, “But Dad, I’m talking to myself.”

What would you say then? I just laughed.

Need a comedian? Maybe. But you can save the two-drink-minimum by just dining with kids.
What’s my point?  Humor is everywhere, if you’re open to it.
